David Nail (born in Kennett, Missouri) is an American country music artist. Since 2007, he has been signed to MCA Nashville; prior to that, he was on Mercury Nashville, which is owned by the same parent company. To date, Nail has charted two singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. His second single, "I'm About to Come Alive", was originally recorded by the band Train in 2003. He attended both Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was a member of the baseball team, as well as Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Nail is an avid fan and follower of the University of Missouri, as well as the St. Louis Cardinals. He is currently dating Catherine Werne, 2nd runner-up at Miss Tennessee USA 2008.
