James Andrew House

James House (born James Andrew House, March 21, 1955 in Sacramento, California) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Originally a member of a group called the House Band, James began his country music career in 1990 on MCA Records, recording two albums for that label. He later penned singles for Diamond Rio and Dwight Yoakam, before finding another record deal on Epic Records in 1994. That year, he charted two Top 40 singles on the Billboard country charts, including the Top ten hit "This Is Me Missing You". Although he was dropped from Epic in 1995, he has continued to write for other country artists, most notably Martina McBride's Number One single "A Broken Wing".
