Rhett Akins (born October 13, 1969 in Valdosta, Georgia) is an American country music singer-songwriter. He debuted in late 1994 with "What They're Talking About", the first single from his album A Thousand Memories. Released in 1995 on Decca Records Nashville, this album also produced the #3-peaking "That Ain't My Truck", which went on to become his signature song.
